Bright Lights is a free after-school enrichment program for League 42 kids, designed to enhance math and literacy skills. Our students come to us at the Leslie Rudd Learning Center for a one-hour session and work one-on-one with our dedicated volunteers, including many college students from the prestigious Rudd Scholars Program at Wichita State.
Young students have semester-long access to comprehensive K-12 curriculum while having the opportunity to engage in fun educational activities at the learning center. Additionally, Bright Lights has proved to be a valuable space for a study hour, especially for our older League 42 kids. It’s a space where students can focus, get support, and stay on top of their academic goals in an encouraging environment!
